Tummy Tuck Surgery (Abdominoplasty)
This procedure flattens your abdomen by removing extra fat and skin,
and tightening muscles in your abdominal wall.
It is popular following pregnancy, massive weight loss or whenever a flabby abdomen with weak muscles impairs body contour.
While liposuction is ideal for removing localized fatty that is centralized to specific areas,
tummy tuck removes excess abdominal skin and fat while tightening the abdominal muscles.

- Women who have muscles and skin stretched
  by multiple pregnancies
- For those who have loose folds of skin around the
  abdomen by significant weight loss
- Women with cesarean section scar which creates
  excess abdominal skin and rolls.
Anesthesia: sedation or general
Surgery duration: 4 hours
Hospitalization : over night stay

Stitch removal: 1 week after surgery
Recovery period: daily life after 1 week

1. The Standard Tummy Tuck (Full)

This is a traditional tummy tuck, usually reserved for people with very lax muscles and the surgical incision is slightly larger, usually running in a straight line between the hipbones. The belly button will be correctly repositioned and the scar remains between the hipbones.

2. The Mini Tummy Tuck

An incision will be made in the lower abdominal wall that reaches to the navel. The mini tummy tuck is especially beneficial to women whose lower abdomen have been weakened by pregnancy. For women who have had a C-section, the scar and an incision are essentially combined one which allow for only one scar to remain. The recovery process is a bit shorter than recovery following a traditional tummy tuck.

3. The Extended Tummy Tuck

This is the most appropriate procedure choice for patients with a greater amount of loose, sagging skin on their abdomen, as well as on their hips and on the sides of their lower back. Extended tummy tuck patients also usually have excess fat in these body regions that need to be removed along with the extra skin. A long incision is made in the abdominal area that reaches around the hips to the lower back and the resulting scar is well-hidden under the bikini line.
