Open incision is applicable for the cleft lip surgical scar on the nose. In this case, cartilage transplant is required to shape the nostrils at the same time. Then scars on the nose area will be improved. For the surgery on the lip line, z-plasty is used, it corrects the scarring line on philtrum toward nostrils. |
When it comes to lip line scar treatment, connection of white line is important and if it is performed properly, we regard it as a 90% of success rate for the surgery. In case of men, if hair transplant is performed more than twice, it is invisible. In case of women, the surgery requires more precise skills and need to be performed with scar laser treatment and micro suture together. |
